Tim has been the director and lead instructor at
the Hypnotherapy Academy of America since 1995. He is serving his second term as President of
the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. He is a retired nationally registered paramedic,
trained at the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine and a graduate of Gil Boyne's
Hypnotism Training Institute of Los Angeles.
Because Tim is trained in allopathic medicine, he brings a unique understanding of the
appropriate adjunctive use of clinical hypnosis to the field. His book, Medical Hypnotherapy:
Principles and Methods of Practice, is an effective instructional manual for professionals
in the healthcare system, as well as for those who want to learn how hypnotherapy can help
people discover and activate their own inherent self-healing capacity.
Tim brings an obvious joy to his teaching and
has a talent for distilling complex theories of the mind into practical therapeutic application.
He teaches students an advanced understanding of both the suggestive sciences and analytical
hypnotherapy processing methods. In the classroom and in his book, he focuses on the most
effective methods for relieving pain and accelerating healing. Tim's enthusiasm comes from
his experience of helping hundreds of people to create healthy, happy and successful lives.
The Hypnotherapy Academy of America is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
